I have a friend who went to the Mizuno sale at Paseo de Magallanes. The sale was at real low price, down to maybe 50-60% off. The problem was they are selling old stocks, I can hear Mr. Mizuno saying that is why we are on sale, duh! Mizuno runing shoes that were on sale was maybe around 5-6yrs old/ 2001-2002 models. Since the prices were really low my pal and his buddy bought their 1st Mizunos. They are happy telling me about the low price they paid for their shoes. However, after just using the shoes in around 1-2 weeks the midsole gave out! Apparently the rubber or the midsoles have a shelf life. After several yrs it will crack like biscuits. Unfortunately the two mizuno converts lost their recepits and might not have a refund for the shoes. My advice to Mizuno, the next time you go on sale please give out super glues. argsh!
Mizunos are great running shoes and i like mine. GREAT at making running shoes but BAD at running a SALE. Run on, friends.
